The Ingleside man was driving a stolen car at the time of the collision on Route 134 near North Catherine Street in Ingleside, police said.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified a 27-year-old Ingleside man killed in a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday.
Preliminary results from an autopsy show Joshua Rosendahl of Ingleside died from blunt force injuries to the head, neck and chest as a result of the collision, which happened at about 5 a.m. on Route 134 near North Catherine Street, according to a news release from the coroner's office.
Authorities say Rosendahl was driving a Honda sedan, which had been stolen a day earlier from a gym in Fox Lake, at the time of collision. The sedan was headed west Route 134 when the car veered into the eastbound lanes of traffic and hit an eastbound GMC work truck head on, police said.
