Coroner IDs Round Lake Beach Man Killed In Friday Crash
The collision happened Friday afternoon at Route 175 and Bradley Road in Green Oaks.
LAKE COUNTY, IL β The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified a 35-year-old Round Lake Beach man killed after his motorcycle collided with a semi Friday evening.
Results from an autopsy show Dennis Lewis Jr. died from blunt force injuries to the head and neck as a result of a crash at Route 175 and Bradley Road in Green Oaks, according to a news release from the coroner's office.
The collision happened at about 2:35 p.m. Friday when a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle headed west on Route 176 crashed into a 2008 Peterbilt Semi, which was turning left from Route 176 onto Bradley Road, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The semi driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriffβs Office Technical Crash Investigations Team.
