GRAYSLAKE, IL — An 18-year-old Grayslake man remains behind bars on a $3 million bail for accusations he threatened to kill students and shoot up their school.

Michael Drees, of the 700 block of Fieldale Lane, faces two counts of making a threat at a school following the incident earlier this month.

He is accused of threatening to kill two 16-year-old students and dismember them and kill their families, according to the Daily Herald. Authorities say he made the threats over Snapchat.

Drees has been in custody at the Lake County Jail since his arrest on Nov. 1. He would need to post $300,000 to be released from custody.

He is next expected in court on Nov. 16 for a status hearing.
