LAKE COUNTY, IL β€” One of the 14 men arrested at a Gurnee hotel as part of a multi-day human trafficking suppression operation was fired last from his side job at a local school, according to the Chicago Tribune. Timothy Christian, 37, from the 2000 block of Miraflores Avenue in Waukegan, was fired from his role as the assistant girls' basketball coach at Antioch Community High School by the Community High School District 117 school board, the news report said. Christian is currently suspended from his program assistant role at Community Consolidated School District 46's Park Campus, the Chicago Tribune added.

Christian is out on bail. The 14 men each face one count of solicitation of a sexual act and must appear in court in Waukegan, the sheriff's office said, in a news release sent to Patch.

The Lake County Sheriff's Special investigations group joined a coalition of law enforcement agencies in a nationwide operation targeting customers of prostitutes, known as "Johns," according to the news release. The sheriff's office said many of the people selling sex aren't doing so willingly, but are being forced into it. The sting involved a web-based operation centered on the use of classified advertising websites as a medium for prostitution, the sheriff's office said.
