• Gracey LePage sparks Crystal Lake South defense against Grayslake North (dailyherald.com) — Grayslake North’s girls basketball team fell 54-44 to Crystal Lake South in the Northern Illinois Holiday Classic semifinals, despite strong three-point shooting from Knights guards Ashlyn Stoneham and Lucy Roscoe. The Gators’ intensified second-half defense, sparked by reserve guard Gracey LePage and inside scoring from sophomore Gaby Dzik, turned the game around and sent Crystal Lake South to Thursday’s tournament championship.
