A young, fat pot-bellied pig was found wandering in Ingleside Monday afternoon. The porker was brought to the Round Lake Animal Hospital.
“She likes her belly rubbed, she walks up to people and she rolls over,” hospital manager Kristine Wadzinski told the Chicago Tribune. “She’s obviously somebody’s pet. She’s way too nice to be a farm pig.”
The pretty pig was taken to the Lake County Health Department’s Animal Care and Control building near Libertyville, but she didn’t stay there long. The pig’s owner claimed her on Wednesday.
