Plans Move Forward For Massive Data Center Campus In Grayslake
Construction on buildings for the multi-billion-dollar data center campus could start as early as 2027.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — Plans are moving forward for a multi-billion-dollar data center campus in Grayslake.
Known as T5 @ Chicago IV, if fully built out, could bring more than 10 million square feet of data center to the village as well thousands of jobs, new tax revenue and millions of dollars in developer fees for the village of Grayslake, according to the Lake County News-Sun. The first of the up to 20 buildings planned for the project, which are slated to be built near Peterson Road and Route 83, could start going up in 2027.
The project could be complete by as early as 2029, according to the article.
