Save The Date: Grayslake SummerFest

Formerly known as Summer Days, this year's SummerFest will span over two evenings in August.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — As we start to finally feel a hint of warmer temperatures — and with summer right around the corner — preparations are well underway for many popular festivals throughout the Chicago suburbs.

In Grayslake, SummerFest — formerly known as Summer Days —draws crowds every year to downtown Grayslake. Here's what we know so far about this year's festival:

  • This year, the festival will include two evenings of fun, live music, food trucks, drinks BINGO and more. There will also be a new pop-up area for photo ops, lounging and socializing.
  • The festival will be held on Aug. 16 and 17

There will be no carnival rides or outdoor drinks or food allowed at this festival, which is organized by the Grayslake Chamber of Commerce.
