Stun Gun-Armed Robber Attacks Resident in Unincorporated Grayslake
Authorities say a man was robbed upon returning home from work late Wednesday.

Lake County Sheriff's deputies responded Wednesday to an armed robbery in unincorporated Grayslake where the victim was attacked upon returning home from work.
The robber targeted a 37-year-old resident around 9:30 p.m. at his home in the 18300 block of West Springwood Drive. Authorities say the assailant punched the man in the head and then tried using a stun gun to subdue him before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a sheriff's office press release.
The offender is described as a Black man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt. He reportedly concealed his face during the robbery.
