Tonight's Mega Millions Jackpot Stands at $586 Million

With no one winning Friday's Mega Millions drawing, Tuesday's jackpot has climbed to $586 million—a cash payout of $316 million.

The current jackpot is the largest since last year’s $656 million Mega Millions jackpot split between winners in Kansas, Maryland and Illinois, and the fifth-largest ever in North America, according to a press release.

The Mega Millions drawing will be held at 10 p.m. tonight. Tickets, which cost $1, can be purchased online.
