Veterans Day Assembly, LEGO Building and National Gaming Day This Week

Here's a look at some events coming up:

Veterans Day Assembly

Frederick School, 595 Frederick Road, will host two 30-minute Veterans Day assemblies Nov. 11. All local veterans are invited to attend the assemblies, which are slated for 9:40 to 10:10 a.m. and 10:20 to 10:50 a.m. Refreshments will be served for the veterans.

LEGO Building at the Park District

The Grayslake Park District will host a LEGO event from 6:15-8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Recreation Center, 240 Commerce Drive. Children can build LEGO structures and enjoy pizza and juice. National Gaming Day

The Grayslake Library will participate in National Gaming Day on Nov. 16. Patrons can play "plugged" games from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m., along with "unplugged" games all day. For more information, visit the library website.
