• Man Accused Of Dining & Dashing Over $37 Before Crashing Into Ambulance (regionnewssource.org) — A Hazel Crest resident is facing multiple felony charges after police say he skipped out on a restaurant bill in Munster, Indiana, then fled at high speed and hit an ambulance carrying a patient. The December 7 incident allegedly began over a $37 meal and ended with the ambulance patient needing to be taken back to the hospital for evaluation.
