19 Year Old Charged with Drug Possession, Resisting Arrest
Also, a tip jar was swiped from a St. John's Ave. business.

Possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia
Andrew Kensek, 59, of the 2700 block of Central Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a driving complaint in the 2300 block of Skokie Valley Road at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 26 court date.

Resisting arrest/attempted possession of a controlled substance
Michela Davellis, 19, of the 26800 block of Longwood Drive in Lake Forest, was arrested and charged with attempted possession of controlled substance and resisting arrest after a vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped by police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:30 a.m. Sept. 6. Davellis was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 14 court date.

Patio furniture damaged
A patio furniture set that was on a common rooftop patio accessible by all tenants in a building in the 2000 block of St. Johns Avenue was damaged sometime between Aug. 29 and 31.
Grinder stolen
A white Ford F250 was entered while parked in a lot in the 2100 block of St. Johns Avenue between 4 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2 p.m. Sept. 1 and a change cup and a Ryobi 4-inch grinder were taken
Tip jar taken
Someone stole a glass tip jar containing about $30 in change from a counter Aug. 29 between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of St. Johns Avenue.
iPad taken
Someone stole an iPad mini in a black case after it was left behind at a business in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road Sept. 4.
Cash, Marine Crops knives, socks stolen
Someone took an iPod, cash, two commemorative Marine Corps knives and athletic socks from an unlocked 2006 Infiniti that was parked in the 2900 block of South Murphy Road overnight Sept. 4.
Grill gone missing
A black Weber charcoal grill is missing from the patio of an unoccupied rental property in the 700 block of Hill Street.
