HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

  • Retail - Dec. 8 at 3:16 p.m.
    • Staff at the Target at 2099 Skokie Valley Road reported to police that someone took merchandise, worth about $118, without paying.
  • Theft - Dec. 8 at 5:46 p.m.
    • Police Received a report of a theft from LA Fitness located at 115 Skokie Valley Road. According to the reporting party, an extremely valuable item worth approximately $20,000 was stolen from their secured locker in the gym's locker room.
  • Theft - Dec. 10 at 6:13 p.m.
    • A contractor working in the 1300 block of Orleans Circle reported that an item, estimated to be worth about $2,000, was missing.
  • Retail - Dec. 11 at 3:08 p.m.
    • Staff at the Target at 2099 Skokie Valley Road reported to police that a man took merchandise, worth about $30, without paying.
  • Theft - Dec. 12 at 12:41 p.m.
    • Police Received a report of a theft from LA Fitness, located at 115 Skokie Valley Road. According to the complainant, their coat and hat were taken from a coat rack in the men's locker room. The total estimated loss is $450.
  • Theft - Dec. 12 at 3:49 p.m.
    • A theft was reported at the Highland Park Hospital, located at 777 Park Avenue W. The complainant told police that their personal property was taken on Dec. 4 while they were at the hospital.
  • Retail - Dec. 13 at 5:58 p.m.
    • Staff at the Target at 2099 Skokie Valley Road reported to police that a man took merchandise, worth about $227, without paying.

    • Police received a report of trespassing at Port Clinton Square, located at 600 Central Ave. The reporting party told police that a man had entered the mall and was walking around.
