2 Arrested for DUI in Highland Park Last Week

One of the drivers was also charged with open transportation of alcohol, pot possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Shanelle Harris, 25, of the 300 block of S. Maplewood Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 1400 block of Park Avenue West at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 26. She was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 24 court date.

Caleb Flores, 25, of the 2800 block of S. 49th Avenue in Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, driving while license suspended, failure to signal, improper lane usage, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped by police in the 1400 block of Skokie Valley Road at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 28. Flores was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 24 court date.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Erick Miranda, 35, of the 1600 block of N. Monticello St. in Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended, no valid registration and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25. Miranda was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 22 court date.

Michael Sanderson, 38, of the 3300 block of 102nd Avenue in Kenosha, WI, was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 4 p.m. Sept. 23. He was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 8 court date.
