Burglars Ransack Highland Park Home

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

Police are investigating a report of a residential burglary which occurred between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jan. 17. It was reported that unknown offender(s) gained entry by smashing one of the windows on the front door and ransacked the bedrooms. Jewelry, rare coins were taken. The incident occurred in the 1600 block of Arbor Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Disorderly Conduct

Fidel Flores-Martinez, 28, of Highland Park was arrested Jan. 19 and charged with disorderly conduct – filing a false police report after attempting to report his vehicle which was involved in a hit and run in Chicago stolen from his residence, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Feb. 26 in Park City.

Ruben Moncivaiz, 38, of Highland Park was arrested Jan. 17 and charged with driving while license revoked, uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped by police in the 800 block of Ridge Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Feb. 5 in Park City.
