Donna was an avid watercolor artist, sculptor and a member of Temple Sinai in Sarasota, Florida.

Donna Mae Orlove of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Chicago, Il and Highland Park, Il passed away on October 14, 2023. Graduate of New Trier High School, and the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. President of Theta chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma sorority, Sweetheart of Pi Lambda Phi, member of Alpha Lambda Delta scholastic honorary, and Shiai honorary society and Angel Flight. Registered occupational therapist for 24 years in Chicago northshore nursing-rehab facility. Member of Ort and National Council of Jewish Women. Donna was an avid water color artist and a sculptor, and a member of Temple Sinai in Sarasota, FL.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Bertha Scheckerman. She is survived by Jeff Orlove, the love of her life in marriage for over 61 years. She is also survived by her two daughters, Sheryl Orlove, and Erica Orlove and two granddaughters, Emily Weinberg and Brooke Weinberg, all of whom she loved very much. She is also survived by her brother Joel Scheckerman (Bobbi), her step sister-in-law Barbara Kantoff (Sheldon), and several cousins and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Beth Shalom Cemetery in Sarasota, FL on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 1:00pm with arrangements made by Toale Brothers, Sarasota, FL.
