Josephine Marie Quarta nee DePalma, 94, of Lake Forest and formerly Highwood, born October 22, 1919 in Bari, Italy and passed away September 5, 2014 in Lake Forest.

She was a member of the Guild of St. Mary and the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society.

Wife of the late Vincent M. Quarta, Jr. (1986); mother of Vincent J. Quarta III, Mary Jo (George) Wiegold and Leonard J. (Claudia) Quarta; grandmother of Vincent Quarta IV, Valerie McDuffie, Bryan Wiegold, Julie Wiegold Workman, Kevin and Scott Quarta and Megan Maeser; great-grandmother of 9 and sister of Edith O’Brien.

Funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 11 at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Avenue, Lake Forest, 847-234-0022 or www.wenbanfh.com. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Lake Forest.
