Police Arrest 2 Drivers for DUI Over Thanksgiving Holiday

The following reports are from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an admission of guilt.

Driving Under the Influence

Bradley Swanson, 45, of the 1200 block of North Avenue, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after being stopped by police at about 2:01 a.m. Nov. 27, in the 1200 block of North Avenue. Swanson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Jan. 2.

DUI on Skokie Valley Road

Scott Pieri, 22, of the 500 block of Lockard Lane, Highwood, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use after being stopped by police at about 3:12 a.m. Nov. 29, in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road. Pieri was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Jan. 9.

Criminal Trespass

Renee Bova, 59, of the 1800 block of Grand Avenue, Waukegan, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to property after responding to a request for assistance at around 11:23 p.m. Nov. 29, in the 600 block of Broadview Avenue. Bova was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Dec. 17.
