Police Make 5 DUI Arrests in One Week

The following arrest information was supplied by the Highland Park Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Rosalio Hernandez-Nunez, 41, Highland Park was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license and speeding after police responded to a report of a two car accident near the intersection of Vine Avenue and Green Bay Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 10 in Waukegan.

Kennard Pittman, 31, of Milwaukee was arrested Dec. 24 and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol and improper lane usage after police responded to a driving complaint in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 10 in Waukegan.

Joseph Semrad, 41, of Highland Park was arrested Friday and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, no valid driver’s license, failure to signal lane change and seatbelt violation after police responded to a check for well being and later stopped Semrad in the 600 block of Burton Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 17 in Waukegan.

Zackery Wilcoxson, 29, of Carrollton, GA, was arrested Saturday and charged with driving under the influence, uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Jan. 24 in Waukegan.

Juventino Elizalde, 32, of Highland Park was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence, open transportation of alcohol, uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended after being stopped by police near the intersection of Elm Place and Sheridan Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Feb. 7 in Waukegan.
