Woman Arrested for Domestic Battery

Domestic Battery
Elaine Lazarus, 51, of Highland Park was arrested Dec. 16 and charged with two counts of domestic battery, interference with the reporting of a domestic battery and resisting a police officer after police responded to a 911 call of a dispute in the 1300 block of Bob-O-Link Road, according to Highland Park Police reports. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Criminal Court Jan. 10 in Waukegan.

Theft
Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that medication was taken from a locked medication box on Dec. 8. A similar incident took place Nov. 22 at the residence located in the 900 block of Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Driver’s License Infractions and More
Daniel Cuevas, 25, of Highland Park was arrested Saturday and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 900 block of Park Avenue West, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Criminal Court Feb. 5 in Park City.
