Woman Steals Shoes From Local Retailer

Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that an unknown female entered Shoe Fly in the 500 block of Elm Place Dec. 29 and stole a woman's pair of winter boots, according to Highland Park Police reports.

Jun Li, 39, of Lake Forest was cited administratively Jan. 2 for selling liquor without a City of Highland Park Liquor License. Li is expected in administrative court at City Hall Feb., according to Highland Park Police reports.

Abner Garcia-Rivas, 29, of Highwood was arrested Jan. 4 and charged with driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed after police responded to an accident in the 1100 block of Central Avenue, according to Highland Park Police reports. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court on Feb. 4 in Park City.
