Hinsdale, IL - It usually isn’t polite to talk about how much money people make, but for politicians and government employees, that information is a matter of public record.

Knowing is a little easier thanks to the Better Government Association, which compiled a list of 2014 salaries for government employees throughout Illinois.

Hinsdale’s 2014-15 budget was $25,924,145, according to village budget documents. The village spent $783,794 on personal services for general government employees, which is the administrative department of the village.
