7 New Homes Planned For Hinsdale Neighborhood

HINSDALE, IL – A developer plans to build seven houses in a Hinsdale neighborhood, replacing a church, public records show.

The houses would be at the southwest corner of Fuller Road and Oak Street in Hinsdale's northeast section. It is where The Chapel and Hinsdale Baptist Church once were.

On Tuesday, the Village Board is set to review a request for a zoning change to make the development possible.

The developer is Oakley Home Builders in Downers Grove.

According to its paperwork, the developer said the houses would be "visually compatible" with the surrounding neighborhood.

The Village Board meets at 7 p.m. at Village Hall.
