86-Year-Old Man Charged In Hinsdale

Battery

  • An 86-year-old Cicero man was arrested about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on a battery charge. The man was accused of battering an employee at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, 600 W. Ogden Ave. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Theft

  • A bicycle was stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday from a driveway in the 400 block of North Quincy Street. The case is pending.

Trespassing

  • Someone entered an unlocked car Saturday in the parking lot in the shopping center at 16 Grant Square. Nothing was reported stolen.
