In a seminar sponsored by Hinsdale's Oak Community Church, McDowell will talk about “Relationships that Transform.” The seminar is open to the community and is an opportunity for participants to learn tips for “tuning up” relationships with those closest to them–whether it be in marriage or friendship.

McDowell will place a special emphasis on parenting and ways parents can learn to have empowering relationships with their kids.
McDowell is an international speaker who has addressed more than 10 million young people, giving more than 24,000 talks in 118 countries. He also has authored 112 books, including More Than a Carpenter, which has sold 15 million copies in more than 85 languages and New Evidence that Demands a Verdict, which was named one of the twentieth century’s top 40 books and one of the thirteen most influential books in the last 50 years on Christian thought by World Magazine.
