Battery Suspect Resists Hinsdale Officers: Cops

In another case, a man is accused of domestic battery at the hospital.

A 29-year-old Glen Ellyn woman was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Adams Street on two counts of misdemeanor battery and one count of obstructing an officer, Hinsdale police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving battery, a hit-and-run and theft. Here is information from the reports:

Battery

  • A 29-year-old Glen Ellyn woman was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Adams Street on two counts of misdemeanor battery and one count of obstructing an officer. Police said the woman pulled away from officers and resisted arrest. She was charged and given a date to appear in court.

Domestic battery

  • A 66-year-old Lisle man was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., on a domestic battery charge. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Hit-and-run

  • A driver hit a parked car about 6 p.m. June 17 at Village Children's Academy, 901 N. Elm St. The case is pending.

Theft

  • A patient at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., told police that a ring was stolen from her personal property. She was in the hospital May 30 and May 31. She reported the theft Sunday.
