Big Clarendon Hills Road Project Expected
The state is set to pay for 80 percent of the construction cost.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills plans to resurface a dozen blocks of Burlington Avenue this year.
The project is slated for Burlington from Prospect Avenue to the western village limit, which is just short of Wilmette Avenue. Work has already begun on the water main.
The construction is estimated to cost $385,000, with a state grant covering 80 percent of it, according to the village. That leaves $77,000 for Clarendon Hills.
