Man's Hinsdale Porch Piracy More Extensive: Police
In another case, a man was arrested on a DUI charge after crashing, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Porch piracy
- Andres Martinez Osorio, 35, of Chicago, was arrested last week on a felony theft charge in connection with stealing a package from the front porch of a house in the 600 block of South Lincoln Street. Police are now saying that he is also connected to such thefts in the 400 block of South Vine Street and the 200 and 600 blocks of North Lincoln. Police said he was caught with packages from multiple houses.

- A 27-year-old Lombard man was arrested about 4 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and driving with a suspended license. The man submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was given a court date and then released.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 900 block of North Elm Street told police Friday that someone forged the resident's signature on a fraudulent prescription. The case is pending.
- A resident in the 600 block of Dalewood Lane told police Friday that someone used the resident's identity to open a bank account.
