Clarendon Hills 2013 Daisy Dash 5k Results

722 runners competed in the Fathers Day race through downtown Clarendon Hills on Sunday; complete results are now available online.

The 2013 Daisy Dash drew hundreds and hundreds of competitors to downtown Clarendon Hills on Sunday for the Fathers Day 5k road race. 

With a time of 15:40—a pace just over a five-minute-mile—former Hinsdale Central cross-country star, current University of Richmond runner and Clarendon Hills resident Billy Fayette cruised to first place, a whopping 73 seconds faster than his nearest competitor, Mt. Carmel senior Dan O’Keefe of Downers Grove.

Colleen Gallaher of Eau Claire, Wisconsin was the fastest female racer (26th overall) at 19:56, followed among women by two Clarendon Hills residents: Katie Gelman (20:44) and Lori McInerney (20:50.)

A total of 722 runners finished the race, including three-year-old Isidora Kowalchuk of Willowbrook, (55:58) along with dad Michael, one second faster.
