Clarendon Hills Trick-or-Treat Hours Not Being Postponed

Deputy Chief Boyd Farmer said rumors that trick-or-treat hours are being postponed village-wide are not true.

Halloween has not been canceled or postponed in Clarendon Hills.

Deputy Chief Boyd Farmer of the Clarendon Hills Police Department said that, despite the rainy weather, the village-endorsed trick-or-treat hours of 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening have not been changed.

He said a rumor has spread through the community that the village is postponing the hours, but that is not the case.

"There is no confusion about Clarendon Hills Halloween, it is going to be from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today," Farmer said.
