D181 Warns Residents About Chemical Pesticides Currently Being Used

The Clarendon Hills Park District began applying chemical pesticides at athletic fields near Clarendon Hills Middle School, Prospect School and Walker School Monday and won't be done until Friday, according to a release from District 181.
Basic turf fertilizer is being used, and residents should not enter those fields until the area is dry.
"Signs will be posted confirming application at the location," the District 181 release states. "The Clarendon Hills Park District makes health safety information relating to this chemical pesticide application available to residents upon request."
