Emergency Closure Of Hinsdale Railroad Crossing

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale was notified Tuesday that emergency repairs are needed under the Garfield Street railroad crossing, the village said.

The repairs will require a full closure from Wednesday to Friday mornings, according to a village statement.

The crossing will be closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic while a portion of the rail is replaced, the village said.

Detours are planned.
