Flat Tire Leads To Hinsdale DUI Arrest: Cops
Officers obtained a search warrant to get the driver's blood sample, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their weekly blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the latest reports:
DUI
- A 44-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the 10 block of West Hinsdale Avenue on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, improper lane use, using an unsafe tire, disobeying a stop sign, not driving on the right side of the road and transporting open alcohol by a driver. She was stopped for driving on a flat tire. Police said she had an open container of beer. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. A search warrant was obtained, and she submitted a blood sample. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 49-year-old Burr Ridge woman who lives on Tomlin Circle was arrested about 9 p.m. Feb. 18 in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use and failure to signal when required. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A Hinsdale hospital patient told police that his wallet was stolen after he was taken between hospitals. He reported unauthorized charges on the credit cards in his wallet. The theft occurred between Dec. 22 and Feb. 18. The case is pending.
- A resident at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, 600 W. Ogden Ave., told police someone stole her wallet from her purse, which was inside a dresser drawer. She said the theft occurred between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday while she was out of the room receiving treatment.
