Football: Hinsdale Central Tops Proviso West For 3rd Straight Win
Another Red Devils quarterback suffered an injured ankle Friday night in Hinsdale.

Hinsdale Central quarterback Jacob White ran in two touchdowns and the Red Devils defense pitched a shutout in a 31-0 win over Proviso West, according to HighSchoolCube News.
The win at home gives Hinsdale Central a 2-0 West Suburban Silver record, and a 3-1 record overall.
White, who was playing in place of injured starting quarterback Chase Hamilton, had 148 yards on 10 carries, HighSchoolCube reports. He had touchdown runs of three and 70 yards. He left the game after injuring his ankle playing on defense.
Third-string quarterback Ben Stefani, who normally plays running back, replaced White, but did not throw a pass.
The loss dropped Proviso West to 1-3 and 0-2 in the West Suburban Silver.
