Garfield Railroad Crossing Closing Briefly Next Week
Construction will force the closure of the downtown Hinsdale crossing on Monday, Sept. 30.
The Garfield Street grade crossing will be closed for construction on Monday, Sept. 30, according to the Hinsdale Police Department.
"Although detours will be in place, advance arrangements should be made to avoid this intersection," the department stated in a recent Facebook post.
The construction that day should be completed by the afternoon hours.
