Hinsdale Central High Student Dies, Principal Announces

HINSDALE, IL – A Hinsdale Central High School student died Tuesday afternoon, the principal announced.

"On behalf of our entire community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family during this very difficult time," Principal Bill Walsh said in a mass email to students and parents. "We encourage you to talk with your child, our student, because learning of a death or experiencing the death of a peer or loved one impacts each student differently."

In his email, Walsh listed in-school and outside resources available to students.

This follows the news of a Hinsdale South student's death on March 27, less than two weeks ago.
