Hinsdale Central Named to Elite List of High School Broadcast Programs

Central is one of 37 schools on the National Elite List.

Hinsdale Central High School today announced that the NFHS Network, a national high school sports media company, has named Hinsdale Central to its list of “Elite” high school broadcast programs.

There were 37 schools named to the NFHS Network Elite list and 83 named to a “Select” list. Nine Illinois schools made the elite list and 14 Illinois schools made the Select list.

According to the NFHS Network, schools participating in the program receive training, support and the technology platform to broadcast their own regular season games online.

This past school year, the NFHS Network’s Select High Schools produced an average of 56 events each covering an average of 5 different sports. The Elite High Schools produced an average of 72 events each covering an average of 6 different sports.
