HINSDALE, IL – The Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce's longtime leader has retired, passing the torch to another person in the organization.

Eva Field has worked for the group since 2004 and became the president and CEO in 2008. Replacing her is Amanda Wagner, the chamber's marketing director.

At Tuesday's Village Board meeting, Field was honored for her service, with Village President Tom Cauley reading a resolution praising her.

"I could never have asked for anything more except moving forward into this future," she said.
