Hinsdale D181 Official To Lead Another District

HINSDALE, IL – An official in Hinsdale School District 181 is resigning in June to become the superintendent of a downstate district.

Jeffrey Alstadt, communications director for Hinsdale School District 181, was appointed last week to take the helm at Streator Elementary School District 44.

Before Hinsdale, Alstadt was the superintendent of Randall Consolidated School JT1, southwest of Milwaukee.

Alstadt is going to a district with dramatically different demographics. In Streator, nearly three-quarters of students come from low-income families. That compares to 2 percent in Hinsdale.
