Hinsdale Patient's Belongings Stolen: Cops

In another case, a man who crashed was arrested on a DUI charge, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Theft

  • A patient at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., told police that someone stole his bag of personal items from his room between Wednesday and Thursday.

DUI

  • A 43-year-old Bensenville man was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at 55th and Madison streets on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving an uninsured car. Police responded to a crash. The man submitted to testing that indicated his blood-alcohol level was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
