Hinsdale Police Officer Silly-Stringed by HMS Students
D.A.R.E. officer Michael Coughlin gave himself up to the string after a group of students met their participation goals for a magazine sales drive.
Officer Michael Coughlin of the Hinsdale Police Department recently gave himself up to a silly-string attack Oct. 24 by a group of Hinsdale Middle School students who had hit their goal in a magazine sales drive at the school.
Coughlin is the Hinsdale Police Department's D.A.R.E. officer.
While fun, HMS principal Ruben Pena said the event is also an example of the "strong collaborative relationship" between the police department and the middle school.
"Officer Coughlin is part of the fabric of our student's school experience and his involvement with our community can not be measured."
