Hinsdale Police Reports: Car Theft, Burglary, Trespass
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through July 26.

Someone stole a car between July 19 and 20 while it was parked in the driveway in the 400 block of E 6th Street. The car's owner reported that the doors were unlocked and the keys were left inside the car.
The stolen car is a 2014 Mercedes-Benz G550.
An employee at a business in the 0-100 block of S Washington Street reported someone on July 19 stole a ring valued at $149, a dress valued at $148 and a necklace valued at $298.

Someone entered a car between July 19 and 20 while it was parked in a driveway in the 600 block of N County Line Road and stole a gym bag containing exercise equipment valued at $100 and an iPad valued at
$700. There were no signs of forced entry to the car. The car's owner believed he had locked the car.
Someone entered an unlocked car between July 19 and 20 while it was parked in a driveway in the 600 block of N County Line Road and moved items from the center console.

Someone entered an unlocked car July 19 while it was parked in a parking lot in the 200 block of E Ogden Avenue. A purse containing $50 and prescription medication was reported missing
Someone tried to enter a house between July 15 and 17 through a side garage door in the 200 block of N Vine Street. The person did not get inside the house. Several items were stacked inside against the door.
Someone stole a car between July 21 and 22 while it was parked in a driveway in the 500 block of W Seventh Street. The car's owner reported the doors were unlocked and the keys were left inside the car. The stolen car is a 2011 BMW IX four-door.
Someone entered an unlocked car between July 21 and 22 while it was parked in a driveway in the 600 block of S Monroe Street. The person went through the center console and glove box. Nothing was reported missing from the car.
Someone stole a car July 22 while it was parked in a driveway in the 0-100 block of S Adams Street. The car's owner reported the doors were unlocked and the keys were left inside the car. The stolen car is a 2016 Land Rover LR4.
A wallet was found at a gas station July 24 in the 200 block of E Ogden Avenue. The wallet contained a white powdery substance inside of a straw. Charges are pending the results of the lab report.
Police were sent July 24 to a report of a package theft in the 500 block of Warren Court. A 14-year-old boy was seen opening a package and then throwing it in the driveway. The contents of the package were found in a bush. The case is pending follow up by a juvenile officer.
Someone stole a car between July 25 and 26 while it was parked in a driveway in the 500 block of N Elm Street. The car's owner believed it was locked and there were no keys in the car. The stolen car is a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 SUV.
