Hinsdale Police Reports: Disorderly Conduct, Burglary, DUI
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through Aug. 2.

Someone hit a car July 27 while it was parked on the east side of Hinsdale Central High School on Grant Street. The car had damage to the front driver side fender, and no note was left.
Chris T Thomas, 66 of the 200 block of S Monroe Street in Hinsdale was stopped July 30 for speeding in the 600 block of S Monroe Street. He was seen to be under the influence of alcohol, police report. Thomas submitted testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was charged with DUI and speeding and released to appear in court.

Antonio Richmond Jr., 31 of the 1300 block of S Finley Road in Lombard was stopped July 29 for improper lane use in the 900 block of York Road. He was seen to be under the influence of alcohol, police reported. He submitted testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. Richmond was charged with DUI and improper lane use and released to appear in court.
Someone used a credit card July 30 to make a fraudulent purchase for $76.39. An employee of a business in the 100 block of E Ogden Avenue described the suspect as a white male wearing a yellow shirt.

A package was reported stolen between July 15 and 16 from a home in the 200 block of N Washington Street.
The package contained carpet samples, valued at $100.
Police found a car parked in a driveway in the 800 block of S Vine Street on July 28 with the rear passenger door open and the center console ransacked. The owner was not sure if her car was locked. Nothing was reported missing from vehicle.
Police found a car parked in a driveway July 28 with the front passenger door open and the center console ransacked in the 800 block of S Vine Street. A second car in the driveway also had signs of the console and glove box had been ransacked. A bag containing about $50-60 worth of quarters was reported missing.
Someone reportedly entered a car in a driveway in the 100 block East 7th Street and ransacked the center console and the glovebox between July 25 and 26. An unlocked car in the 900 block of South Stough Street was also ransacked and a key fob was reported stolen.
Someone received a text message July 21 from a known suspect that caused her to feel alarmed and threatened.
A suspicious letter was found Aug. 1 on the printer at the Village of Hinsdale, 19 E Chicago Ave.
