Hinsdale Suspect Had Fentanyl, Asleep Behind Wheel: Cops
Local officers also reported two other DUI arrests in the last few days.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale's latest police blotter included three DUI arrests, with one driver accused of possessing fentanyl. Here is information from the police reports:
- A 41-year-old Darien man was arrested about 9 a.m. Monday in the 400 block of West 55th Street on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI (drugs), stopping or parking where prohibited and driving an uninsured car. Police said they were called about a man asleep behind the wheel. He had a substance that field-tested positive for fentanyl, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 25-year-old Hickory Hills woman was arrested about 11:30 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane use. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was given a court date and then released.
- A 72-year-old Lyons man was arrested about 8 p.m. Saturday at Hinsdale Avenue and Lincoln Street on charges of DUI, disobeying a stop sign and driving an uninsured car. Police said he was in a crash that damaged property. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was given a court date and then released.
