Inferno Fest Sets Basketball Season in Motion

Hinsdale Inferno held their annual Inferno Fest on Friday, October 18th marking the start of the program's 17th season.

The Hinsdale Inferno Basketball program held Inferno Fest on Friday, October 18th at Hinsdale’s Community House. This marks the 17th season for the program that is standard bearer of basketball within the District 86 boundaries. The Inferno is the feeder program for Hinsdale Central High School. Led by an all volunteer Board and coaches with a focus on development, fun, and healthy competition. This season the Inferno has formed a long term relationship with training partner Spartz Sportz, the leading basketball training program in the state, to help increase the skills and development of all players involved.

Inferno President Mike Kurkowski noted, “The work the Board has done in the last year has really set up Hinsdale Inferno for better long term success and a more vibrant future by teaming up with Spartz Sportz in a long term arrangement. We’re proud of the history of the Inferno and even more excited about the future. We couldn’t do this without all of the parents who volunteer in the many aspects of Inferno.”

The Inferno Fest featured Hinsdale Central Girls and Boys varsity coaches, an introduction of all the Spartz Sportz trainers and best of all some fun basketball competitions for players and parents!
