Injured Coyote Seen In Clarendon Hills

There is no need for anyone to intervene, the village said.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – A coyote with an injured leg in Clarendon Hills is attracting attention, the village said.

The village said it recently received calls about the coyote and contacted DuPage County Animal Services, Willowbrook Wildlife Center and a private wildlife trapper.

The experts told the village that while the coyote has an injured leg, it is acting normally when authorities approach.

"(T)here is no need for anyone to intervene at this time," the village said in a statement.

The village said that while some may be shocked to see a coyote running through town, it is not unusual.
