Man Arrested In Westmont Stabbing: Police

The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

WESTMONT, IL – A Westmont man was arrested last week after he stabbed a household member, police said.

Elias Aparicio-Modesto, 22, who lives in an apartment building in the 100 block of West 65th Street, was arrested on one count of aggravated domestic battery, two counts of aggravated battery and one count of domestic battery, police said.

About 1:30 a.m. Thursday, officers found a person who had been stabbed several times with a sharp instrument, police said. The victim, who was taken to a hospital, was reported to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Aparacio-Modesto remained in the DuPage County Jail as of Monday morning.
