Man Batters Medic In Clarendon Hills: Police

The suspect was taken to the county jail after going to the hospital, authorities said.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – A Clarendon Hills man has been charged with felony aggravated battery against a medic, police said.

According to the police report, the victim was a member of the Clarendon Hills Fire Department.

The incident occurred when an ambulance showed up late the night of April 27 at the apartment complex at 285 N. Richmond Ave., police said.

Luis U. Rodriguez, 52, was taken to the hospital, but was released a couple of hours later, police said. He was then taken to the DuPage County Jail.
