Grimm then attempted to bite the security officer's arm, but was unsuccessful, Hinsdale police said. A female employee told officers that Grimm made chomping noises and threatened to fight the employees.
When an officer went to speak with the suspect, Grimm was on a medical cot snoring loudly. The officer was unable to wake him up.
Later that morning, the officer served Grimm with a felony complaint against him. Grimm, who was awake and ready to leave the hospital, said he knew that would happen, police said.
The officer said he tried to read Grimm his rights, but Grimm said he did not want to make a statement.
Grimm was released shortly after.
